A mental health expert has revealed his top tips to help parents guide their children through A-Level results day.
Former psychiatric nurse Jessen James, parents should start to prepare their children for results day now.
Talking to FEMAIL, Jessen explained that parents should follow certain steps to ensure the mental wellbeing of their child before, on, and after results day.
It comes as the number of top A-Level grades awarded is set to drop by up to 16,000 this year, as the softer marking regime of the pandemic era is reversed.
A* grades alone could fall by 11,000 - or 14 per cent - while A* and A grades may plummet by 7 per cent when pupils open their results on Thursday,
